MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for two people who robbed two Waffle House restaurants minutes apart Sunday night.
Investigators said two masked men entered the Waffle House in the 8100 block of Varnavas Drive in Cordova at around 7:30 p.m. and left with the cash register.
A short time later, the same pair held up another Waffle House about five miles away on Sycamore View Road in northeast Memphis. Police said they also took the cash register from the business.

It does not appear that the robbers displayed weapons. MPD has not said how much money they took from the eateries.
One of the suspects is described as having a thin build and wearing black and white shoes. The other suspect wore a multi-colored face mask and black, green, and blue shoes.
