MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was fatally struck at a southwest Memphis intersection Friday night, police say.
Officers responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on South Third Street and East Fairway Avenue at around 7:19 p.m.
Police say a woman went to the hospital in critical condition. She later died from her injuries.
According to police, the driver stayed on the scene. Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
