MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman was severely injured in a shooting in Whitehaven Thursday morning, Memphis Police say.
Officers responded to the shooting in the 300 block of Sullivan Drive at around 6:30 a.m. They say a woman was found on the scene and taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
The MPD says one man has been detained. We will provide updates as information becomes available.
