MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police have arrested a man they say fired several shots through a McDonald’s drive-thru window in South Memphis last month.
Police said nine people were inside the fast food restaurant in the 1800 block of Third Street when Teevon Garrett, 22, opened fire.
According to investigators, Garrett got into an argument with an employee working the drive-thru window and came inside waving a gun in the air. The victims said he went back outside, drove through the drive-thru again, and fired his gun into the business.
Police said surveillance video and leads helped them identify Garrett as the shooter. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Garrett is facing nine counts of aggravated assault and one charge of reckless endangerment. He has a previous arrest for domestic assault.
