According to Chief CJ Davis, officers have stayed overnight searching for Kayden. Davis says they are all hands on deck, using aviation, drones, knocking on doors, speaking with family members and neighbors, and other resources during their search efforts. Community members have gathered alongside government agencies to help.

“We are also looking at all surveillance cameras that we have access to,” Davis said.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police have issued a City Watch for a five-year-old autistic boy who wandered away from an apartment in the Fox Meadows area Wednesday afternoon.

Police say Kayden Nolen was at his aunt’s apartment in the 2700 block of Meadowlake Drive when he disappeared. His aunt said she woke up from a nap and realized her nephew was gone.

The family searched the Residences at Lakeview Apartments complex before contacting the police.

They said this is not the first time he has walked away from the apartment, but he is usually found on the property just off S. Mendenall Road.

Kayden is 3 feet tall and weighs 60-70 lbs. He was last seen wearing a red spider shirt and black pants. Kayden was not wearing shoes.
