UPDATE: SCSO arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with Southeast Shelby County Shooting on Friday.
SCSO detectives arrested Jordan Underwood after Wednesday’s shooting that left a male victim in critical condition.

The male victim, later identified as Justin Walker, was shot nine times and died from his injuries at the hospital.
He has been charged with first-degree murder, prohibited weapon, possession of marijuana with intent, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was left critically injured after a shooting in Southeast Shelby County, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies say around 1:30 p.m., they responded to the shooting call in the 4500 block of Jonesy Lane. A man was found suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was then taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.
Detectives say they are currently on the scene investigating the incident. They ask that the public avoid the area if possible until the scene is clear.
This is still an ongoing investigation.
