MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Two victims were shot Sunday on Beale Street.

According to Memphis Police, around 3:17 p.m., officers responded to Alfred’s on Beale Street regarding a shooting. Two victims were found suffering from gunshot wounds.

They were both taken to Regional One Hospital and one person is in non-critical condition.

Officers say they arrested one suspect on the scene.

Kendall Robertson, the owner of Alfred’s has released the following statement: We are stunned about the unfortunate incident that took place on Beale Street today. We want to be clear, that no one was shot inside of Alfred’s today, but we are cooperating fully with the authorities.  The safety of our staff and patrons are of the utmost importance to Alfred’s.  The gentleman who was injured today is in our thoughts and we wish them a speedy recovery.
