MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A popular Mexican food truck chain with six locations in Memphis is adding two more in downtown and Binghampton.

Taco Nganas applied for permits to bring the food truck to a former gas station at 119 Danny Thomas Boulevard, between the Shelby County Criminal Justice Center and Victorian Village.

A company website said Taco Nganas hopes to open there in spring 2024.

The company also has plans to open this spring at 2471 Broad Avenue at Hollywood. Both sites have “coming soon” signs on the lots.

The popular local food truck chain opened its first location in 2020 and now has locations from East Memphis to Summer Avenue, Cordova, and Midtown.
