On April 11, around 7:45 p.m., a woman says she was stopped at a red light on Park Avenue and Semmes Street when an armed man walked up to her and told her to get out of the car. That is when the woman drove off, according to reports.

At 8:30 p.m., officers say they were called to the 3200 block of Chisca Avenue, where another vehicle was taken by force..

The victim told police that when he got out of his Nissan Murano, two armed men walked up to him, took his car keys and wallet, and left in his car.

Around 9:50 p.m., officers say they were called to another robbery of a vehicle in the 2300 block of Summer Avenue.

The victim says he parked his car at a gas pump and walked from the vehicle. When he came back to his car, he said he saw a man in the driver’s seat who then drove off.

As the victim tried to run after his car, two men in an SUV allegedly pulled in front of him, pointed a gun at him, and told him not to leave.

Police say the suspects in the SUV then followed the man in the victim’s Mercedes-Benz.

On April 12, around 1:20 a.m., the Tennessee Highway Patrol says they found the stolen Nissan Murano going southbound on Danny Thomas Boulevard. When they attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle, they said the driver kept going.

Shortly afterward, the stolen vehicle crashed at North Holmes Road and Johnson Circle. After a brief foot chase, police say two men were taken into custody.
