MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman and little boy were killed in a Northeast Memphis house fire Thursday morning.
Firefighters responded to the home fire in the 6400 block of Wimble Road around 9:30 a.m.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The boy was taken to the hospital, where police say he later died.
The incident is being investigated as a homicide.
