EMPHIS, Tenn. – A man with a lengthy criminal record was accused of exposing himself to a group of children at a Hickory Hill apartment complex.

Police were called to the Highland Hills Apartments Wednesday afternoon after several children went to a security guard there and told them a man had been flashing them.

When officers got to the complex L Kimber was already inside the leasing office, but put up a fight when they tried to arrest him.

A woman at the complex said Kimber also approached her and her son as they were walking into their apartment with his pants down to his knees.

Kimber is facing a number of charges including indecent exposure, public intoxication and resisting arrest.

One tenant said there were at least a dozen kids outside at the time and it’s nothing any child needed to see.

“Exposing yourself with your saggy pants and you walk around and you are looking at children,” said Derrell Draper.

Court records showed Kimber has been arrested a number of times for disorderly conduct as well as public intoxication, domestic assault,  robbery and reckless endangerment.
