COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — A Somerville man accused of attacking a woman in Collierville last month has been arrested.
Cadarius Luellen approached a woman walking down Market Boulevard near Green Oaks and tried to rape her, police said.
When she called her husband to tell him she was worried a man was following her home from the park, he allegedly threw the woman’s phone in a yard and managed to take off her pants.
She screamed and escaped. Her husband called 911.
Authorities said the 28-year-old Luellen was taken into custody on Monday thanks to the help of the public.
He’s been charged with aggravated kidnapping and attempted rape.
