DESOTO COUNTY, Miss. — The man charged in the murder of Jessica Chambers is back in Mississippi.

Quinton Tellis arrived at the Desoto County Jail around 6:15 p.m.

Tellis was indicted in the Chambers case back in February at the same time he was in jail for an unrelated case in Monroe, Louisiana.

He entered a guilty plea to unauthorized use of a credit card that belonged to a murdered ULM student on the first day of his trial.

Teelis waived his extradition rights to Mississippi where he is set to face first-degree murder charges for Chamber’s death back in December 2014.

hambers was set on fire on a rural road in Panola County.

Around 98% of her body was burned.

She later died from her injuries.
