(Memphis) A man accused of throwing a Memphis police officer through a glass window and punching another officer will face a judge.

Jon Riley hired a lawyer and asked the judge to reset his hearing in two weeks.

Riley was arrested for aggravated assault and several other charges.

Investigators said Riley was extremely drunk and was fighting with other people outside the bar he claimed were stalking him.

The affidavit said Riley punched Officer Shawn May once in the face. The press release said he punched him several times.

Today, police said the number wasn’t recorded.

Police are now reporting Officer Brian Falatko was thrown through the window, even though the press release said both officers were pushed.

May and Falatko are recovering.

Both have been with MPD’s Entertainment District Unit for five years.

In 2011, Falatko was caught on tape on Beale grabbing a woman from a moving car, then carrying her a few feet until he arrested her. Police said the woman hit Falatko with her car.

No one with MPD would comment on Falatko’s previous incident.

Riley was not at his home today when we stopped by. His attorney wouldn’t talk to us either.

Riley could face three to 15 years in jail.
