(Memphis) A Memphis man is facing charges after police say he tried to set a high-rise apartment building on fire.
Investigators say 60-year-old Michael Parrett entered Barry Towers on North Lauderdale and poured gas in the entrance and in the lobby.
More than 30 firefighters and paramedics responded to the call at the building.
There were no signs of any smoke or flames.
Parrett is expected to face a judge on Tuesday, September 3rd on an Attempted Aggravated Arson charge.
