MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 53-year-old man was sentenced to 13.5 years in prison after pleading guilty to the aggravated rape of a minor.
On Tuesday, Marcus Adams Jr. admitted to the 2012 crime in which he picked up a 15-year-old girl as she walked home and forced her to have sex at gunpoint.
He then dropped the 15-year-old off at the same location where he picked her up.
Adams will be added to the Sex Offender Registry and will not be eligible for parole.
