LAMPASAS — A man from Lampasas, Texas was arrested in a bizarre case in which he posted an ad on Craigslist for his own murder.

According to Police, Scott Lewis, 19, assumed another identity when he posted the $1,000 ad on December 14.

The post said Lewis was simply looking for someone to do a “job” for him.

When an interested party contacted him that’s when he revealed he needed someone killed and gave him his own real name.

That person immediately called police, who soon identified Lewis as the one who posted the ad.

KWTX reported the ad has since been removed from the website.

Lewis’s bond was set at $75,000.
