(Bartlett, TN) A man is being held for trying to kidnap a child at a Bartlett library.
Police were called to an attempted abduction at the library on Stage Road.
They say they pulled over a car and, while running IDs, Benjamin Gray took off.
He was captured soon after.
Police believe Gray tried to kidnap a boy earlier by trying to coax him into his car.
The boy ran back inside the library and is fine.
As of now, Gray is charged with assault for putting his hands on the boy.
