(Savannah, TN) Two people face murder charges in the death of an elderly woman in Savannah, Tennessee.
Investigators say Chris Knight and his 18-year-old wife Tonya killed Knight’s 71-year-old mother Peggy Alexander early Sunday morning.
The TBI says Knight and his mother had been fighting recently and she wanted to cut him out of her will.
Investigators say Chris Knight took money from his mother’s bank account after she was killed.
