MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have made an arrest in a double murder on Super Bowl Sunday.

Randolyn Smith is being held on two counts of first-degree murder.

According to investigators, Smith gunned down Muhammad El-Amin and Cameron Stokes after a local Super Bowl party.

Aquil El-Amin told WREG his son was taking Stokes to a friend’s house and planned on returning to the family home.

The two were gunned down while sitting inside their car at the Hamlett Apartments in Fox Meadows.

El-Amin was the father of three children.

Stokes is the brother of Cateria Stokes, who was murdered while sleeping during a drive-by shooting last year.
