OSCEOLA, Ark. — An Arkansas man is jailed on $1 million bond on suspicion of first-degree murder in the shooting death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son.

Osceola police alleged in an affidavit that Quinton Hoskins pointed a gun at 2-year-old Kei’Derrion Love and “deliberately pulled the trigger,” killing the child.  Hoskins was arrested Monday on the charges.

The shooting happened May 1 in Osceola, about 145 miles northeast of Little Rock.

Hoskins is due in court for an arraignment on May 22, and court records don’t list an attorney who could speak on his behalf.
