MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A local man was arrested for alleged sex crimes against a 15-year-old girl in her own bedroom.
The incident happened in the 300 block of East Raines Road.
Police documents stated on March 15, Isaiah St. Clair forced the teen’s window open around 1 a.m.
He reportedly reached his arm inside the home and tried to pull the girl’s underwear off while she was sleeping.
The girl noticed the man, jumped out of bed and screamed for her mother.
The suspect fled the scene.
On March 20, the victim told police she had seen the man before, but wasn’t someone who had been in her home.
After taking fingerprints from the window, officers identified St. Clair as a suspect in the case.
St. Clair was arrested on Wednesday and charged with aggravated burglary and sexual battery.
His bond was set at $30,000.
