MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 22-year-old man has been charged with a fatal shooting Thursday at the Citgo at 1525 Cherry.
Koalis Peete was arrested and charged with first degree murder in perpetration of an armed robbery, aggravated robbery and criminal attempt felony: to wit aggravated robbery.
Abdelshakoor Sider, 20, an employee at the store was shot and killed.
Police say Peete walked into the store wearing a mask and tried to rob the store.
Sider shot Peete, who returned fire.
The owner of the store also shot Peete.
Police now say no one else was involved in the robbery.
