MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating another homicide.
This one happened overnight in South Memphis.
Police were called to the 1600 block of South Lauderdale Street shortly before midnight Sunday.
Officers found the victim lying on the ground, half in the street.
He had multiple gunshot wounds and was unresponsive, police said.
Memphis Fire treated the victim on the scene, but he was pronounced dead soon after, police said.
Police identified him as Anthony Beason, 39.
Police are investigating.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Beason’s son Malik.
