MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man was killed in a car crash near Rhodes College late Saturday night, according to Memphis Police.

MPD said the two-vehicle crash happened near the intersection of Jackson and Charles Place shortly after 10 p.m. Officers said Pedro Lewis, 42, was transported to hospital in critical condition but did not survive his injuries.

Memphis Police said the other driver stayed on the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
