TURRELL, Ark. – The Crittenden County Fire Department responded to a house fire around 9:30p.m. Friday night.
The fire happened on Eureka Road just a couple of blocks away from Turrell City Hall.
The house was completely engulfed in flames by the time the fire department arrived on the scene, said department chief Woody Wheeless.
Once firefighters arrived on the scene, they were advised that a man was in the home. After doing a search, firefighters did located a man in the home who had died as a result of the fire.
The Crittenden County Sheriff’s Department has not yet released the identity of the man killed in the house fire.
