MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis man was killed following a shooting in Fox Meadows early Thursday morning.
According to police, first responders made the scene at the Lakeview apartment complex in the 2800 block of Treasure Island at 5:11 a.m.
They found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the Regional Medical Center but did not survive his injuries.
A man who did not want to be identified said the victim was his neighbor. He was known for helping people out. He washed cars and repairs to them as well.
“He would come outside and get your car washed. For no reason. Everybody love him,” the man said.
