MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Neighbors called him a man on a war path.
A South Memphis man so angry after an argument with a woman he slammed his SUV into the side of her car.
“He was chasing the car, and rammed into it, spun around and came back and did the same thing to it,” said one witness.
In the back seat was a 4-month old baby girl, strapped in her car seat.
“She was thrown from her seat. She was in her seat and I seen it when she got ejected from her seat,” said another witness.
She came out of her car seat but the adults inside the car with her clung to her while the driver of the SUV kept ramming them.
Finally the man’s neighbor got him to stop.
“When I told him the baby was in the car he completely stopped. He didn’t know she was in there,” said the neighbor.
We’re told the baby seemed okay at first but then started acting oddly and was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
Police said the man who rammed the car fled on foot.
