MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man from Orange Mound was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the shooting death of his wife back in 2013.
On Friday, William Langston, 46, was told his sentence following last month’s jury decision he was guilty of second-degree murder.
According to the District Attorney’s Office, an argument broke out between Langston and his wife Kimberly on the night of May 24.
During the course of the argument, Kimberly armed herself with a knife and so he shot her in the head.
The incident happened inside their home in the 600 block of Hamilton.
