Man shot, killed outside of Deuces Bar and Lounge

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police need the public’s help identifying the people involved in a shootout that left one man dead early Sunday morning.

According to a spokesperson with the department, police were called to Deuces Bar and Lounge on Winchester around 1:17 a.m.

That’s where they found a 22-year-old man lying in the parking lot, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Witnesses on the scene told investigators the man was with a group who was involved in an altercation with another group of men.

The other group left the scene in a white Mercury Grand Marquis, but then returned opening fire.

Gunshots were exchanged between the two groups, and that’s when the 22-year-old was shot and killed.

He was pronounced dead on the scene.

No one else was hurt during the shootout.
