Man stabbed after bar fight at Silky O’ Sullivans

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said they were investigating a stabbing that happened in the 100 block of Beale Street on Saturday.

They told WREG the suspect in the attack, Robert Lillhedhall, faces aggravated assault charges.

According to reports they noticed a man lying on the sidewalk in front of the Silky O’ Sullivans bleeding around 1:30 a.m.

When officers entered the building, they noticed that one of the witnesses had the suspect detained and handed them a black switch blade.

He told police the guy he was detaining was responsible for the stabbing.

Two more witnesses told police they saw the victim hit the suspect, and the two became involved in a fight.

As they were pulled apart, both witnesses saw the suspect holding a knife and the victim bleeding.

The victim was transported to Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

The suspect was arrested and transported to Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition after complaining of an injury to his nose and face.

He has since been released.

Lillhedhall was scheduled to be in court on Monday.
