MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man is in critical condition after being stabbed in the 500 block of South Highland Street early Sunday morning.
Police say they found the man standing in the parking lot of the Circle-K gas station holding his stomach and bleeding.
The victim was transported Regional Medical Center.
Witnesses tell police that the victim called an unknown suspect a bad name and the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife or box cutter in the stomach.
The suspect was last seen running on foot westbound on Southern Avenue.
