MCNAIRY COUNTY, Tenn. — The McNairy County Jail confirmed Daniel Stanfield is in custody for stealing an ATV and then engaging in a shootout with the owner.
The incident happened Thursday morning in Ramer.
The McNairy County Sheriff’s Office said Ramer resident David White saw Stanfield riding on White’s ATV at his home. White told WREG he shot at Stanfield, and then Stanfield fired back. Stanfield then crashed the ATV and ran away.
