Man who killed cop pleads guilty to being felon in possession of a firearm

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Lorenzo Clark, the man charged in the death of off-duty officer Terence Olridge, appeared in court Wednesday.

He pleaded guilty to the charge of convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Clark admitted to using the weapon to shoot Olridge on Oct. 11.

This offense has a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000. He will be sentenced April 15.

In addition, Clark’s wife, Natalie Clark, pleaded guilty to disposing of a firearm to a felon. She will also be sentenced April 15 and faces the same maximum punishment.
