MARSHALL COUNTY, Miss. — Law enforcement officers are asking the public to be on the lookout for Josef Schnabl, who is said to have stolen a car.
The vehicle is a 2014 Chevrolet pickup with Mississippi tag T702D, Marshall County deputies said.
Schnabl’s sister-in-law told the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office he may be headed to the Memphis area.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Authorities believe he has a stolen .40 caliber handgun with about 70 rounds of ammunition, and he may also be carrying knives.
Marshall County deputies said Schnabl is a felon. He was just released from jail on parole from a vehicle theft conviction.
