Memphis, TENN — Two people were injured in a crash on Shelby Drive near Forest Hill Irene.
The crash happened just before noon Sunday.
The male passenger was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition and the female driver was rushed to the hospital via ambulance, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
Prior to the crash, a Shelby County sheriff clocked the vehicle in excess of 90 miles per hour.
The vehicle crashed before the sheriff was able to catch up with them.
