MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police identified the body of the man who was found dead next to railroad tracks Monday as Josh Benton.
He was found by the tracks near Lombardy Place and Central Avenue.
According to investigators, they received the call around 1:15 p.m. Monday from a train conductor. The conductor told police he was traveling the route when he noticed the man slumped over on the side of the tracks.
When paramedics arrived there were no signs of life.
The cause of death have not been determined yet, but police said they do not suspect foul play.
