MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Fire and Memphis Police responded to the scene of a MATA bus crash.

The accident happened at Third Street and Mallory Avenue at about 4:45 p.m. Monday.

A pickup truck rear-ended the bus as the bus was turning, a MATA spokeswoman said.

Two of the six bus-riders requested medical attention, the spokeswoman said.

Those two were transported to Methodist South for their injuries, police said. There is no information on their condition.
