MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Mid-South driver was cited after a crash involving a MATA bus over the weekend.
The police department confirms it happened at the intersection of Danny Thomas Boulevard and Alabama, which is near the Uptown Square Apartment complex.
The fire department says it happened around 4:30 p.m.
In a police report sent to WREG by MATA, officers said a Ford F250 was traveling southbound on Danny Thomas when it ran a red light and hit the bus.
Police say four people were taken to the hospital but are expected to be okay.
The driver of the Ford F250 was cited for disregarding a red light.
