(Memphis) Seven people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a MATA bus and several vehicles, including a Memphis Police cruiser.
The crash scene was near Poplar and Scott where Poplar goes over Union Avenue Extended.
The Memphis Fire Department said the person who started the chain reaction had to be cut out of their vehicle and is in critical condition.
The other six people transported are in non-critical condition.
A Memphis Police officer said a car heading east on Poplar hit another vehicle then over corrected and hit the police officer head on.
The MATA bus was also hit.
