A group in Memphis rallied against another war Tuesday evening.

The protest for peace happened in East Memphis.

About two dozen people waved signs and chanted on the corner of Park and Highland as part of the Memphis Community to Speak Out for Peace Rally.

They called on lawmakers in Washington to vote against military action in Syria.

Protestors say they want the U.S. to focus on a peaceful resolution.

They say not only does our country not have the money to fund another war, but say it would put Americans in danger.
