(Memphis) City Attorney Herman Morris has appointed a team of six lawyers on his staff to look into any complaints from voters on Election Day.

Morris says, “In light of the difficulties, mishaps, errors and mistakes revealed in the recent audit of the performance of the Shelby County Election Commission in the past several elections and in the absence of any additional resources from the state, this is a precaution to insure the freedom and integrity of the election.”

Morris says he wants to be able to quickly clear up any confusion that may come up regarding the use of Memphis Library photo ID cards to vote.

Any citizen who has a problem on Tuesday can call (901) 636-6500 to report it.

Members of the Election Integrity Task Force are: Prince Cambliss, Carlos Bibbs, Rob Ratton, Zayid Saleem, Andre Wharton and team leader Regina Morrison Newman.
