(Memphis) A jury has convicted an East Memphis man for attempting to rape a child.
36-year-old Kenneth Hamm sexually assaulted a little girl who was staying at his brother’s house.
The child’s mother was not at home when it happened.
The girl told her mom about the assault. The woman then called Memphis police.
Hamm faces up to 12 years in prison. He will be sentenced on February 20th.
He must also register as a sex offender.
