Memphis native shows off her moves alongside Janet Jackson

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The FedExForum rocked Tuesday night as Janet Jackson brought her Unbreakable Tour to the Bluff City.

Touring with Jackson was Memphis’ own, 12-year-old Kyndall Harris.

Harris has been dancing since she was 3-years-old and is now living her dream on stages all across the world.

She has even proven herself to be a crowd favorite on every stop of the tour, especially here in her own hometown.

She told us how she prepares the day of a big show.

“I just prepare for the show you know and I pray to keep myself calm. I just enjoy the moment,” she said.

Her family now lives part-time in California but yesterday she visited her old classmates at St. George’s Independent School.

They were extremely excited to she their now famous classmate.

Harris encouraged them to live out their dreams.

“It gives them a goal to shoot for,” said Andrea Ballard at St. George’s Independent School. “It shows that hard work pays off and to follow their dreams so it’s very inspirational for our students to see her do well and be successful. They love her.”

Learn more about Harris Thursday when Markova Reed showcases her during this week’s Bright Spot on Daybreak and News Channel 3 at 4:30 p.m.
