What is Team Read?
It’s a program that is focused on helping second graders improve their sight word vocabulary to help them in their studies.
Research shows that if second graders can read well, they can make the tough transition from “learning to read” to “reading to learn” and do well in school.
Students who can’t read well by third grade are four times more likely to drop out of school without earning a high school diploma.
