MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis mother is locked up on a heavy bond after being accused of shooting two teenagers outside of The Crystal Palace Skating Rink.
Police said Rawls admitted to firing several shots into a crowd outside of Crystal Palace late Saturday night.
“You’re bringing guns and shooting into the crowd with kids. No,” Michael Wilson said.
Investigators told WREG, Rawls said she was angry, after learning one of her daughters was involved in a fight at the skating rink, and another was hit by a car in the parking lot.
Both victims, ages 17 and 15, were listed in non-critical condition and have since been released from the hospital.
Rawls is being held on a $100,000.00 bond and is facing aggravated assault charges.
April Rawls is expected in court on Monday.
