MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The man accused of stabbing a woman at the corner of Millbranch and Timothy Road early Saturday morning was arrested.

Thirty-six-year-old Mario Walls was arrested for stabbing his ex-girlfriend early Sunday morning.

Officers saw Latonia Reeder walking on Millbranch and bleeding from the neck.

Reeder told police that she was giving Walls a ride home when he became angry and stabbed her. Reeder stopped the car and walked away.

Police say Walls left the area in Reeder’s car.

Latonia Reed was transported to Regional Medical Center in critical-condition.

Mario Walls’ bond is set at $1 million. He is expected to appear in court on Monday.
