MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A “Sea of Blue” will pass through Memphis Thursday to commemorate Officer Verdell Smith, who was killed in the line of duty Saturday night.
The procession will set off from the parking lot of Hope Presbyterian Church at 8500 Walnut Grove at 8:15 p.m. Thursday.
It will go west on Walnut Grove, then head south on I-240, north on I-55 and north on Third Street, then pass B.B. King and Beale before coming to an end at B.B. King and Union.
