(Memphis)  A Memphis woman is accused of slapping a police officer

Police were called to the 2000 block of Benford Sunday regarding a suspicious vehicle parked behind a fence.

Ebonee Jefferson said when the officer closed the gate, it became loose from the pole and she reportedly got mad, saying the officer broke her fence.

She immediately started calling 9-1-1.

She was then asked to put her hands behind her back, but allegedly refused.

That’s when she allegedly smacked the officer in the mouth and scratched his face.

Jefferson is out on a 250 dollar bond.
