MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Memphis woman is in jail, accused of aggravated rape. Police say Dymonecia White drugged a woman and raped her at a motel on Mount Moriah.

A man was also charged, but 21-year-old Jonathan Jamison has already bonded out of jail.

Police say 19-year-old White raped the woman at the Governor’s Inn. According to the police report, White and Jamison smoked some weed with the victim and then put something in her papaya juice.

Police say it was an intoxicant so White and Jamison could take advantage of her. Police say the 26-year-old victim reported her head feeling heavy, then White and Jamison raping her.

“They done took it to a whole ‘nother level,” said Larry Smith, a Memphis resident. “That’s what they done did.”

Jamison was arrested and charged with rape just a week after the crime on April 8.

It took police longer to find White. Her last known address was this motel.

Now more than three months after the crime, police have White in custody. She’s charged with two counts of sexual battery and two counts of aggravated rape.

When interviewed by detectives, they say White admitted having sex with the victim, but said she thought it was consensual.

Police say the victim suffered lacerations from the attack.

“That is serious right there,” said Smith.

Jamison is currently out of jail on a $40,000 bond. White has a higher bond of $75,000, and is still in jail.
